Welcome to Fr. Vos our visiting Missionary Priest.  His appeal is in support of a community of Benedictine Sisters in East Africa.  A second collection will be taken at Mass to assist this dedicated group of Sisters.

Father Bogden will be away Monday May 15^th, returning Friday June 2^nd.  During his absence there will be no weekday morning Masses or Thursday Adoration.  Weekend masses will be held as usual and confession will be available before the Saturday evening Mass. 

May’s monthly parish Social Hour is Sunday directly after the morning Mass.  Please join us for conversation, community, and free breakfast goodies!

May’s monthly parish Social Hour is rescheduled to Sunday May 21^st directly after the morning Mass. 

Next weekend we will have a visiting missionary priest Fr. Bill Vos.  He will be speaking on behalf of the Benedictine Sisters from Chipole, Tanzania.  He represents our annual Mission Appeal assigned by the Diocese.  Fr. Vos spent 20 years working in East Africa and has worked closely with this community of Tanzanian Sisters.  They are a community of over 500 Sisters who serve in a wide variety of ministries and pastoral work in 13 Diocese in Tanzania.  These include health care, care for orphans, schools from K-12, technical training institutions and religious programs.  We will be doing a second collection at the Masses and please be generous with your donations to assist this community of very dedicated Sisters.

Friday May 5^th will be the Frist Friday Prayer Service at 9:00AM

Saturday May 6^th is the Rosary Prayer Service at 10:00AM

The Belles of St. Mary is a Women’s Ministry that provides fellowship, support, spiritual growth, and opportunities for women to discover their gifts at talents.  All women are welcome.  They meet on the second Wednesday of every month.  The next meeting is Wednesday, May 10^th at 2:00PM in the church basement.

There are opportunities for parishioners to volunteer to be a Lector at Mass. There is minimal training needed to proclaim God’s Word during Mass. Schedules are created quarterly and in most instances readers will only need to read once a month. It is at your direction whether you prefer to read at Saturday or Sunday Mass.
